About Me
Born in LA and raised in rural Kansas and Colorado Springs, and living everywhere from NYC to Aspen, no wonder I'm a little off, or a lot off depending on how well ya know me. I can tell you this much, I have the coolest jobs on the planet, A, being a dad (job # 1) and B, being your host weekday's afternoons for your ride home from 2pm-7pm. Nobody loves music more than I do so having a so called job that requires me to hang out and play Today's Best Country is something that I'm supremley qualified for. I'm blessed with a great family and great friends like yourself who spend a good part of your day checkin' out music with me, and for that I thank you big time. So please keep listening and I promise that I'll help make it a good day every day with a big ol' heapin' helping of Today's Best Country on Y96.9.

Willie Nelson "Moment Of Forever" in stores now!
When I first heard that Kenny Chesney and his long time producer Buddy Cannon were going to co-produce the new Willie Nelson album I thought, are you kidding me Willie is going the commercial route, I'm not sure I'm good with that. Well once I heard the disc (which by the way hit the player the second I got it) I had no worries anymore cause it's classic Willie all the way. The songs are incredible with offering's from Dylan, Randy Newman, Big Kenny, Kris Kristofferson,
Kenny Chesney, even Dave Matthews "Gravedigger" gets the Willie treatment. Of course Willie being the prolific writer that he is has three of his own songs on the album, one of which qualifies as one of my fav's on the disc "You Don't Think I'm Funny Anymore". Another instant classic is his duet with Kenny Chesney "Worry B Gone" which starts with the line "Gimmie just one more sip of that worry B gone" to get the party started. If you've ever been even a little into Willie you've got to pick up the new "Moment Of Forever", it's far and away the best outing this national treasure has put out in the past few years.
